Details of TITAN 3 Axle Detachable Gooseneck Trailer
The front end of the detachable gooseneck lowboy trailer, called the gooseneck, attaches to the tractor unit with a large coupling device called a kingpin. The gooseneck is then secured to the tractor using hydraulic cylinders to lift the front of the trailer off the ground and onto the fifth wheel of the tractor. Once secured, the hydraulic cylinders then lower the detachable gooseneck trailer onto the fifth wheel and lock the coupling in place.
